- NOC has girls club teams that are divided by skill level from beginner to elite within each age group. Local teams compete in Orange County tournaments, Regional Teams compete in Southern California tournaments and Elite Teams complete in local, regional and national tournaments.
- The duration of the club season depends on the number of events a team plans to participate in. Tryouts for 15U-18U are the end of July and tryouts for 12U-14U are the end of September. The 12U-14U season starts the beginning of November, the 15U-18U season starts the end of November and the final tournaments for all age groups are in June or the beginning of July.
- Club teams practice 3x a week and have 1-3 weekend tournaments per month. The third practice will be a performance training session with OCSF in the El Rancho Charter School weight room.
- The NOC club teams can play or sponsor events sanctioned by USA/SCVA (USA/Southern California Volleyball Association and AAU (Amateur Athletic Union). Club players will register to one or more of these organizations so they can participate in their events.
- Qualifying events for AAU National Volleyball Championships and Junior Olympic National Championships are held locally and nationwide throughout the season. Typically colleges complete their recruiting at club events because high school seasons are at the same time as college seasons.
- Girls club tryouts are mandatory and a minimum of 12 players must be selected and sign a commitment letter in order for a team to participate in a club season. If there are less than 12 players a developmental training group may be formed.
- Committing to a club team means accepting a roster spot and attending ALL practices and traveling to ALL tournaments including any schedule changes. Do not plan vacations during the club season that affect attending practices or tournaments.
- Girls club fees vary by the type of team and include two practice tees, two jerseys, two spandex, a backpack, facility rental fees, coaches fees, insurance, memberships and entry into all regular scheduled tournaments. Club fees do not include organization membership fees (ex: SCVA, AAU) and and costs to travel, lodge or dine at all club events.
- Payment plans will be provided at tryouts. Fundraising opportunities and individual or team sponsorships can be pursued. All fees are subject to change at owner’s discretion.
