Zach played soccer and football growing up, and then became interested in volleyball when he found out his mom lettered in the sport. He tried out his freshman year at Lakewood High School and fell in love with it.

Zach played volleyball throughout high school and at the Highline Volleyball Club in Long Beach, Ca. where his team won a Bronze Medal in the 18s Open Division, placing them 3rd nationally. He continued to play at Long Beach City College where he was coached under John Charette and NOC owner Matt Silva, winning a state title in 2013.

Zach has coached at Mayfair High School in Bellflower, CA. After working part time at Disneyland in the Golden Vine Winery, he discovered a passion for wine and is currently studying to become a Sommelier.

Zach could not pass up an opportunity to work with his former coach and help grow NOC. “I look forward to helping establish a strong volleyball culture in the community while helping the players progress with not just their skill on the court, but their work ethic off the court as well.”
