Carrie Kranz

NOC Administrative Director & Assistant Coach Girls 12s

Carrie was introduced to volleyball her freshman year of high school and instantly fell in love with it. She moved from setter to outside hitter and was extremely disappointed when her team lost the regional championship her senior year. Carrie changed colleges a month prior to the start when given an opportunity to continue playing. She transitioned to middle hitter and remains in the top 10 for most attacks. “Volleyball was a huge therapeutic outlet for me. It also taught me to make mistakes until you succeed and that one of the best gifts in life is helping your teammates succeed.”

Carrie has her Master’s in Occupational Therapy and owned her own therapy business for approximately 10 years working with children with autism, down syndrome, sensory integration dysfunction and motor delays. In 2018 her family moved from Illinois to California and she took a career break to focus on her family.

After settling into the Anaheim Hills Carrie was recruited by the Canyon High School frosh coach to assist with their program and quickly expanded this new coaching career to NOC after having one meeting with Matt Silva. “Matt’s positivity is infectious and I’m thrilled that he asked me to be a part of his mission to teach volleyball in this amazing community.”
